Dragon Ball: The Breakers Season 4 Adds New Raider Broly & More November 1st

After a recent teaser, Bandai Namco has now lifted the lid on Season 4 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers, arriving 1st November.

As many fans guessed, the new raider joining the battle is Broly (available with TP Tokens). It doesn't end there, either. In addition to this are new survivor skins including Cheelai, Lemo, Bulma (Snow Gear) and Mr. Satan. This skin is available via Dragon Tier and the rest will be unlockable with TP Tokens. In the trailer above you can also spot a Gogeta cameo!

In addition to this, there's currently 1st anniversary items available including new transpheres, the new map (Dangerous Ground), special anniversary items, and new customisable items. Check out the 1st anniversary live stream on YouTube.

So when will we get a Dragon Ball Figherz 2? I wish they would add Bruce Faulconer's late 90's Funimation soundtrack, give us power beam struggles, better visuals(for PS5) that are more organic like the Z series (That spanned from 89-95) when it was animated at it's best(The character models and animations still look clunky and stiff, not as smooth, nor animated as well, and are more artificial looking during close up power up shots where they speak before each match in Fighterz).

Make the stages wider to accommodate the blazing fast gameplay, teleporting and the amount of ground each character can cover, make the environments feel more alive with other characters doing things in the background, weather it's interaction or having their own battles etc etc.

Would also love to see Imperfect Cell(for 1 & 2), Debura, Zarbon, Super Buu, Majin Vegeta, Pui Pui, Bojack, Super Android 13, Raditz, Super Android 17, Lord Slug, Pikon and so many more make their debut.

Ok this is actually really cool! I’m not sure how the game is doing right now but I have been wanting Brody! Especially super broly!

Classic Broly would fit way better since that one was actually evil.

@roy130390 ok yeah I was thinking that. This broly wasn’t ever evil at all so it doesn’t really make sense for him to be a raider. As much as I love this broly I sadly have to agree.

@Snatcher @roy130390 This may be weird, but I feel like Z and S Broly are two halves of a whole.

So, here's the thing. Super Broly has the better backstory, but I preferred when Broly was evil. Z Broly had the better personality.

I like Super, but for the most part he just grunts and screams for the majority of the movie. Z Broly atleast had some funny comebacks. I'm also really not a fan of him becoming an ally. It's just we have so many Saiyan warriors as is, including the half humans. I want some unique variety of allies.

If he stayed with Frieza that would be one thing, but we just have so many on the good side. But that's just my weird take.

@Vexx234 I agree, that's pretty much my take on the character and his two versions. However, If I had to choose I'd go with the original because while I really like Broly from Super, there was something really special about the actual Legendary Super Saiyan turning out to be a bad guy without counting the stupid, stupid (yes, 2 times) backstory. It also fits better how the Saiyan nature is (was before Super). Honestly, while there's some really nice things like introducing Hit and Piccolo being relevant again, most things have changed on Super for the worst. Specially Saiyan lore and Bardock. I know that the English dub was bad for it, but GT is a much better series in many ways and gets hate for many dumb things despite of expanding the story in a much better way and having actual transformations instead of palette swaps. At least that's just my opinion, but I digress.

I also agree that there are too many on the "good guys team". If they really wanted to introduce this new version of Broly, maybe it would have worked better if the original one still existed too. Since they introduced different universes and timelines, they could have explained that it's essentially the same guy with different upbringings and other key differences, hence why there's one good and one evil version of the same person.

I don't know, maybe it's a bad idea but I'd have preferred it over erasing the original one. Also, sorry for the long reply, it's just nice to talk about Dragon Ball with people that don't just base their arguments on what's canon and treating it as automatically better.

Really wish they would stop wasting resources on this game. I’m sure it has its fans but most of us could care less about it. The concept itself was just a bad idea from the start. How about we get some news on Tenkaichi 4/Sparking Neo/ Tenkaichi Neo or whatever they are choosing to call it. That’s what the fans really want. It’s been how many months since the initial teaser announcement?
