I really don't know what team to pick this time around lol. I think this is the first time where I could see myself going with any of them.

This looks fun. It's about time it was announced. Looking forward to picking up those news channel items, although the last batch of exclusives through the news channel took a while to appear in Europe.

Was really hoping Splatoween would happen this year but purposefully kept my expectations low due to the lack of it last year so this is a fantastic surprise!

As for my choice of team, I think I'm probably going to go for Team Ghost. Not just because Big Man is rocking that quite frankly fabulous Halloween costume, but also because my 2023 GOTY is all about ghosts; I feel like it'd be sacrilege NOT to go with them at that point XD

but yeah: absolutely ecstatic that Splatoween is back in business and cannot wait for the 28th to roll around (especially with those amazing new pieces of gear they're releasing to coincide with it!).

Zombies because I'm a big fan of The Walking Dead
Skeletons because Dry Bones
Ghosts because Boo

All good choices regardless, but because the question is which would be a best friend... I think going with Zombies is already out of the question. Dry Bones and Boos would make better friends, I don't really recall any zombie in anything I've ever played or watched to be friendly.

I definitely would say Ghost. You can have it clean your house while you're away at work, and it would act as a great deterrent for intruders, since they can scare the living daylights out of them, and can't be destroyed.

It's just a shame that I will be working that weekend. And since my company has basically started Q4, our Saturday hours have since gone back to normal. During the summer, we could take off two hours early on Saturdays if we wanted, but with the holidays right around the corner, we now have to work the full shift.

That means that I'll only be able to get in a few hours on Friday and Saturday, with most of my Sunday being devoted to getting to the max rank. And that's assuming that Genshin Impact doesn't release any more major events in that timeframe.

Bout time they did this. 2022 missed it.

I might go for skeleton, but ghost is also on the table.

Looks like a lot of fun, definitely jumping back into Splatoon 3 for this. Probably going with team Skeleton.

I can't help but think of ARMS everytime there's a Splatoon event in the news. I really wish they brought back the weekend Party Crash, it was always so much fun.

@CaleBoi25 was just thinking if the Switch 2 releases next year, I probably wouldn't buy it straight away, I've got plenty of games on the Switch to play first.
Now. If they're coming up with Arms 2 (or a new Bayonetta for sure) then I must have it.

I guess I'm going Team Zombie since I'll have the highest chance of winning. But in all seriousness, I'll be picking whatever my kid wants to pick, as Splatfests are really special to her. With that being said, she always picks Team Shiver anyway.

@RiasGremory Ah, but if you remember, sometimes the Ghostbusters actually befriended ghosts. If you saw The Real Ghostbusters cartoon series, Slimer became a friend of theirs. And in Ghostbusters II, Slimer helped Louis Tully get to the museum so the latter could help his friends.

Frankly, I would not mind having a ghost as a friend or roommate. As I said, they could be quite useful, and give interesting insight on the differences between life and death.
