Awwww...this looks kinda too "for girls" to my taste, thou I'm dumb for expecting Peach hacking and slashing hordes of enemies or something.

It looks slower than a kirby/yoshi game thou.

I'm sold i thought it looked pretty good. Now how about a Princess Zelda game now Nintendo?

That game looks superb. I will buy it. Hopefully the other Mario girls, Daisy, Pauline, and Rosalina, will at least have a cameo in this game.

Imagine if for the next smash bros they give peach a new move set based on this games costumes.

This was the most interesting and inventive game of the Direct!

After what little was shown of it in the previous direct I thought it was super early in development and we wouldn't hear about it for ages - glad to be proved wrong.

I'm 100% sold on this. I loved everything I saw.

My daughters will abandon me to the wolves if I don't buy this.

I thought Peach would just get a fashion life sim so I was pretty excited to see this when it started, reminded me of "Puppeteer" on Sony consoles, thought it would be like Luigi's Mansion 3 going roomto room and kicking butt, but then the longer it went on the more it looked like a collection of mini levels with each only lasting a few minutes like a Sony Astronot tech demo and I kind of lost interest.

Will wait to see more. If it plays out like a Paper Mario game I'll give it a try but if it's just not connected minigames I'm out.🤷

But what do you actually do in this game? Is it mini games, a platformer, do you just go and push A on different things?

Alright, I had no interest in this, but I'm loving the gameplay variety and overall vibe. Really surprised by what they showed.

Still not the biggest Princess Peach fan, but I admit I'm mildly interested in this now that we know more about the mechanics. I do like that they're making her into less of a ditzy damsel in recent years, but I still prefer Rosalina.

This looks very charming and insanely mid. It looks like the gameplay consists of every level having some sort of heavy handed gimmick and so instead of nailing one play style and building on top of it ala Kirby, it's just going to be a bunch of middling play styles that won't be cooked enough to much fun.

So when is Bowser getting his own game?

Looks like a "Barbie" Peach game where each level requires you to become a different Peach with totally new gameplay mechanics. It could work though it runs the risk of each new gameplay mechanics not being fully-fleshed out enough to be fun.

This was the best part from the Nintendo Direct İ was waiting for more trailer from this game. İ am happy it is like what İ was thinking a big Princess Peach game and the name is very good too. Princess Peach Showtime.

I was sold after seeing Sword and King Fu Peach. Game looks like a lot of fun, looking forward to it

Maybe the best announcement of this Nintendo Direct (as well as Unicorn Overlord). This game looks very charming and fun.

This game actually looks really cool honestly. I'm kinda hoping Peach gets to ride a medieval-dressed Yoshi during one of the settings or something.

@andyg1412 : Almost everything was a remake/port, and that's not even being hyperbolic (as we sometimes tend to be).

There were some welcome announcements (Another Code Recollection especially), but nothing terribly exciting.

Mechanics look fun but I'm not a fan of this presentation theatre type style. Would have been better to have an actual fully-fledged world.

Count me among those confused as to what the core gameplay even is here. Beat em up? Luigi's Mansion sort of adventure game? But it all appears to take place in the same theatre... I worry this will rely on set pieces and mechanics that have nothing to do with each other.

Just reskinned Kirby game with a similar looking difficulty level.

I wanted Peach to be doing something more bad ass than this to really mix it up.

Okay, I am actually impressed with Peach's sophomore effort and am intrigued to play this game. Now every time that sword fighter Peach stabs somebody I can sing "Peaches" along with every thrust 😆

I really enjoyed Balan Wonderworld... on PC, because the Switch version is a disaster.

Peach's second starring role looks a lot more interesting and unique than her game on the Nintendo DS hehe.

Am I the only one that thought Detective Peach looked a lot like Amelia Watson from Hololive?

I was hoping the new Peach game would be a bit more Silent Hill, but this seems fun.

The Mario movie was so successful that almost the whole direct was in the Mario world. Now Nintendo needs to make a Zelda movie.

Balan Wonderworld featuring Princess Peach. Interesting, I guess?

I don't know what I think about a ninja Peach though... she's supposed to be a helpless princess who keeps getting captured by a huge reptile and having to get saved by Mario. Something about her being able to fight back and be able to actually defend herself just doesn't seem right.

It looked cute and sort of fun. Then we got Peach swashbuckling and I was pretty excited. Kung Fu Peach sold me though.

I'll pick this up, probably be some simple fun but I'm really not expecting much from it, probably super easy, somewhat charming but ultimately forgettable. I hope i'm proven wrong though! and that we have another main-stay mario spin off to sit with Luigi's Mansion!

Now what we need is a Rosalina Luma farming game in the vein of the Chao Garden or Viva Pinata XD

You can tell how mind numbingly easy it's going to be from that both in "puzzles" and combat. Such a shame.

I almost forgot about this. I'm so excited for this new kind of experiences from Nintendo's studios. I hope more are coming
And don't forget about new franchises...
